Island Lake board meets early

The Island Lake village board will hold a meeting Thursday, a week early, because Thanksgiving is next week. The session is set for 7:30 p.m. at village hall, 3720 Greenleaf Ave. Officials are expected to approve a tax levy and discuss other business.
