Spring Hill Mall welcomes Santa Nov. 15

The arrival of Santa Claus at the mall each year thrills thousands of area residents from age 1 to 100.

"It is pretty amazing, but Santa's arrival never gets old," says Amy Resch, Spring Hill Mall General Manager. "While we always expect visits from children up to age 10, we are often surprised by the number of teens, senior citizens and even pets that make the annual trip to the mall to visit Santa. It's a tradition for many shoppers."

Santa arrives at the mall this year at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, with Spring Hill Mall's third annual Santa's Arrival Parade.

Several local organizations will accompany Santa in a parade route around part of Spring Hill Mall ending inside Spring Hill Mall near Santa's Chalet.

Cookies and milk will be provided as well as a variety of holiday crafts and prizes for attending children and families.

Santa will be available for visits through Christmas Eve.

Don't forget your family pets! Santa welcomes cats and dogs Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 25 and 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 2 and 9.
