People from far and wide came to the 2nd annual Everything Aquatic at the Schaumburg Convention Center on Saturday. It featured all kinds of fish, from nurse sharks to little guppies, ranging in a variety of colors.

Kids sat in wonder looking at a puffer fish swim gently around in his watery world.

James Wolfersberger of Michigan said he spent more than 60 hours setting up 125 tanks for one part of the exhibit where a wide variety of species of fish were on display. He has set up tanks for celebrities such as Toby Keith and Dolly Parton.

Having an aquarium "lowers blood pressure," said Doug Poindexter, president of the World Pet Association, adding that is why they often have a fish tank in a dentist's office. He also expressed the belief that fish are good for kids, teaching empathy, and about life and death.
