Man stabbed in Schaumburg

A man was treated for non-lifethreatening injuries following a stabbing in the 1400 block of Dixie Court in Schaumburg early Thursday morning, police said.

Another man is in custody, Schaumburg police Lt. Shawn Green said.

According to police, a dispute erupted between the two men around 5 a.m. in the residential building. One stabbed the other with a pocket knife, Green said.

Though the two men were known to each other, their exact relationship is still being determined by the ongoing investigation, Green said. No charges have yet been filed.
