Harvest Christian wins 4th straight volleyball regional

Ellie Burzlaff and Mikayla Robinson each had 8 kills and Burzlaff served 7 aces Thursday night to lead Harvest Christian to a 25-6, 25-14 win over Westminster Christian in the championship match of the Class 1A Chicagoland Jewish girls volleyball regional in Deerfield.

Jade Martinez added 10 digs for the Lions (22-14), who won their fourth straight regional title and will now play against St. Francis de Sales Tuesday in the Westminster Christian sectional.

Shayna Manusos (2 kills, 3 aces, 4 digs) and Hannah Murray (13 assists, 3 kills) also contributed for Harvest.

Savannah Dutcher had 4 kills, Whitney Woodhouse 4 digs and Emma Kovacevich 4 assists and 3 digs for Westminster Christian (7-18-2).
