Rauner endorsement was right move

I have to "live within my means" you probably do too! Our state needs to do so as well. Illinois needs responsible leadership; it needs to deal with the reality it faces. We can't borrow and run debts indefinitely.

I've already given Bruce Rauner minor financial support a couple times; I think he's a good man. I don't care that he's rich; if he knows how to earn money, maybe he can resolve our multibillion-dollar debt.

I once lived in the streets. My first job was weeding the bean fields at 10 cents/hour. I once swept floors and cleaned toilets for a living. I often worked two jobs to make ends meet. I was never bitter; I never expected handouts; I never blamed my employer for my lot. I strove for betterment.

I have no wealth, but I may retire with respect and no debts. We need financially and morally responsible leadership! I think Rauner will offer such. I believe you appropriately endorsed Mr. Rauner.
