Mount Prospect man pleads guilty to sexual assault

A Mount Prospect man pleaded guilty Tuesday to sexually assaulting a young girl five years ago.
In exchange for pleading guilty to predatory criminal sexual assault, Maximino Camacho-Landa was sentenced to nine years in prison and ordered to register as a sex offender upon his release.
The girl was abused between October 2008 and September 2009, prosecutors said. She told her mother about the abuse earlier this year, prosecutors said.
Camacho-Landa received credit for 111 days in custody.
