Jazz Vocalist Karrin Allyson at Prairie Center Oct. 24

Jazz vocalist and four-time Grammy Nominee Karrin Allyson will perform at the Schaumburg Prairie Center for the Arts on Friday, October 24 at 8:00 p.m.

Allyson has been described by the Seattle Times as, "one of the best vocalists in jazz, working at the very top of her game." After 13 albums, her talent does not seem to be slowing down. Hailed by the New York Times as "one of the Jazz world's finest," Allyson has "an easy mastery of bebop, bossa nova, chanson and soft rock to name just a few of the many styles in which she is comfortable." The result is a performance that is rich in warmth and depth.
