Historic Schweikher House tours on Oct. 11

The Schweikher House Preservation Trust invites the public to an Oct. 11 tour of the 1938 Paul Schweikher home and studio, a Modernist home listed on the National Register of Historic Places and one of the top 150 architectural sites in Illinois.

Forty-minute guided tours of the house, studio and grounds will be offered on Saturday, Oct. 11. Pre-scheduled tours will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting on the hour at the property at 645 S. Meacham Road in Schaumburg.
