Cook of the Week champs fire up crowd at grilling event

Cook of the Week Challenge winners Daniel Rich of Elgin (2013) and Michael Pennisi of Carpentersville (2012) fired up their grills and shared recipes for football-friendly fare with Daily Herald subscribers Tuesday night at Hearth & Home in Mount Prospect.

The event attracted more than 70 readers who noshed on barbecue while learning grill cleaning tips, firepit maintenance and outdoor cooking techniques.
