Crystal Lake South downs St. Charles North

Carly Nolan had 12 kills, 5 blocks and 4 aces to lead the Crystal Lake South girls volleyball team to a 28-26, 25-21 nonconference win over St. Charles North Friday night.

Cassy Sivesind added 23 assists and 5 digs for the Gators (9-3) and Emma Burkle had 6 kills.

Harvest Christian d. Newark: Mikayla Robinson had 17 kills and Ellie Burzlaff added 9 kills, 3 aces and 6 digs to lead the Lions to an 18-25, 25-17, 27-25 nonconference win. Jade Martinez contributed 30 assists and 6 digs for Harvest while Shayna Manusos had 12 digs, 4 aces and 4 assists.
