Northwest suburban high schools make Daily Beast list

Barrington, Bartlett, Buffalo Grove and Rolling Meadows high schools have been named to The Daily Beast's list of top high schools for 2014.

The publication examined data like graduation and college acceptance rates to rank more than 700 schools.

Barrington High School came in at No. 213; Buffalo Grove, 415; Rolling Meadows, 508; and Bartlett, 663.

"We are honored to be included in this prestigious list and recognized for offering rigorous instruction that prepares our students for success," Bartlett High school Principal Richard Lebron said in a statement.
