Mt. Prospect seeks fir or spruce tree for holidays

The village of Mount Prospect is looking for a good fir or spruce tree to be used in this year's Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony. Any resident who has a fir or spruce in his or her yard (and would like to get rid of it) should contact the village's Public Works Department at (847) 870-5640 or via email at publicworksdept@mountprospect.org. The tree must be at least 30 feet tall and have full and uniform growth. The village will remove the selected tree at no cost to the resident.
