Meet a favorite writer at Aurora's authors fair

Aurora Public Library invites the community to meet dozens of local authors of various genres at the free "Catch a Bunch of Authors Fair" from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at Prisco Community Center, 150 W. Illinois Ave. in Aurora.

A panel discussion, "Scandal: Writing the Mysteries that Shock and Thrill!" will run from 1 to 2 p.m. and feature four popular crime/mystery writers: Julie Ann Walker, romantic suspense; Travis Thrasher, supernatural thrillers; Shane Gericke, crime mysteries; and Amy Alessio, cozy mysteries for adults and teens.

From 2 to 4 p.m., browse the tables of more than 30 authors to learn about their latest releases and upcoming projects.

Meet representatives from Sourcebooks in Naperville and find out about their new titles and upcoming releases. Book sales will be provided by Barnes & Noble, Geneva.
