Crystal Lake South opens with win

Crystal Lake South d. Marian Central: The Gators not only survived the heat at The Swamp in their season opener, but the Hurricanes as well in a tough 25-23, 25-20 nonconference win. Senior Carly Nolan paced CLS with 8 kills and 3 aces while Cassy Sivesind notched 26 assists and 2 blocks. Abby Marchewka added 10 kills as well.
