Sign up now for KinderConcepts program

JCYS George W. Lutz Family Center is now enrolling 4-year-olds throughout the North Shore for a specialized prekindergarten program: KinderConcepts.

Held from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, KinderConcepts maximizes children's kindergarten prep by extending their traditional preschool program.

Children focus on a different primary subject each day: Handwriting without Tears, science, phonics, math or literature. Parents may choose enrollment based on the days and subjects they are most interested in.

All participants from the 2013-14 school year said they would recommend this program to others. One parent wrote in to say that "we feel blessed to have our child in this amazing program. The staff and educational model are exceptional. Bravo to the leadership, teachers, big hearts and joyful spirits of KinderConcepts."

KinderConcepts includes program curriculum, along with lunch and a snack, free choice learning centers, art, music and more. Registration ends Friday, Aug. 22. For more information, stop by JCYS George W. Lutz Family Center, 800 Clavey Road, Highland Park; call (847) 433-6001; or visit www.jcys.org/HighlandPark.
