Boomers rally again to defeat Rockford

For the second consecutive contest, the Schaumburg Boomers rallied to defeat the Rockford Aviators 5-4 on Sunday afternoon.

Schaumburg (44-30) drew a season high 10 walks in the game and chased Rockford's starter in the third. The Boomers scored in each of the first three frames, then came back with two runs in the seventh for the win.

Justin Erasmus earned the win with three scoreless frames in his second appearance with the Boomers. Dexter Price pitched the ninth, earning his franchise record 18th save.
