Lakemoor Fest celebrates 19 years

A horseshoe tournament, bands, food, carnival rides, a fishing derby, games and fireworks were all part of the fun Saturday during the 19th annual Lakemoor Fest.

The festival at Morrison Park started in 1995 as a small community event to bring residents and neighbors together.

An estimated 30,000 people are expected to attend the festival during this weekend.

The fest continues from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10, at the park at 233 Rand Road (Route 120).
