CEDA Northwest changes name

The suburban social service agency, CEDA Northwest Self-Help Center Inc., is changing names. Its new name is Northwest Compass Inc. A ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the change was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the agency's building at 1300 W. Northwest Hwy. in Mount Prospect. Chief Executive Officer Ron Jordan said the group's mission will stay the same - to provide emergency services, education and empowerment which fosters personal responsibility.
