Elite Sports Complex National Success

Downers Grove's own Elite Sports Complex trampoline and tumbling team recently made the trip to Louisville, Kentucky to compete in the USTA national championships. The team took home three national team trophies in Sub Advanced Double Mini, Trampoline, and Tumbling, as well as individual athlete accomplishments. Ethan Spata took home the gold for boy's Intermediate Tumbling and the bronze for Intermediate Trampoline. Miles Little received the gold for Advanced Double Mini. Morgan Young also brought home a gold for Sub Advanced Trampoline. The youngest competitor to place in the top three at nationals, Hunter Moravec, received the bronze medal for Trampoline. After receiving his medal Hunter stated "Competing wasn't the only fun part, I really enjoyed watching other teams celebrate as well!" The team continues to practice throughout the summer and begin preparation for next year's national competition.
