Author of 'Oldest Chicago' to present at Schaumburg Library

Dozens of the oldest local treasures in Chicago and the suburbs will be featured in a presentation by author David Witter from 7-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, in the Rasmussen North Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg.

In this free program, attendees will discover fun historical facts, including the names and locations of the Chicago area's oldest hot dog stand, school, church, business, theater and much more. Witter will discuss places that have survived the passage of time, from cultural landmarks to architectural sites.
