Suspect in Gurnee woman's murder turns himself in
The man accused of killing a Gurnee woman in a Kenosha, Wisconsin, bar turned himself in Sunday evening to police.
Kenosha Police said M.L. Dale turned himself in at the Kenosha Police Station around 6 p.m. Sunday.
Police had issued a warrant for Dale's arrest in connection with the shooting death of the 31-year-old suburban woman, who has yet to be identified by Wisconsin officials.
Kenosha Police said Sunday night that Dale has not confessed to being involved with the shooting.
The woman was killed shortly before 2 a.m. on Saturday when a man with a pistol walked in and opened fire, police said.
The woman was the only person struck.
The man, in his 20s, then fled the bar, police said.
According to court records, Dale has previous convictions, including ones for battery and disorderly conduct.
The body of the Gurnee woman was inspected by the Kenosha County Medical Examiner's Office over the weekend.
