Island Lake board meets:

The Island Lake village board will meet Thursday to discuss increasing fines for people who don't cut their grass, an appointment to the lake management committee and other business. The session is set for 7:30 p.m. at village hall, 3720 Greenleaf Ave. It's open to the public.
