IHSA, other agencies need better oversight

In response to "IHSA Hearings Need To Be Focused," I find a large amount of disgust in the institution that runs most of our high school sporting events. Higher staff salaries? Especially when revenue had been down? Unacceptable.

I think this is a perfect example of the probably many cases of undeserved and unnecessary actions across Illinois that cost our taxpayers money.

Corruption runs rampant throughout our government in Springfield, and across all big business in our state. And we wonder why businesses flock to other states?

The way our government creates an environment that is not corrupt for businesses to work with is forever fractured. Our government, and its quasi-governmental organizations such as the IHSA need to be monitored on a consistent enough basis that accusations like the one presented in the above article do not pop up, ever.

We need a system that will accomplish the task of oversight in a fair and impartial manner on the IHSA and companies like it to ensure that our children are being treated fairly in their respective sport, and that our taxpayers aren't being blatantly stolen from.
