NCH Announces 2014 Nursing Award Winners

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (May 21, 2014) - Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) is proud to announce the winners of its first nursing awards.

This year, 12 NCH nurses were nominated in one or more of the 10 American Nurses Association's Scope and Standards of Professional Performance attributes. The award winners received a professional development scholarship and exemplary star statue.

Josie Smudde, RN, was named the 2014 Northwest Community Healthcare Nurse of the Year for her work in the oncology department. Juli Aistars, APN, was named the Advanced Practice Nurse of the Year.
