Charity lunch in the park to end Alzheimer's

The "Walk to End Alzheimer's" 9th annual charity luncheon is 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, at Century Park, 1001 Lakeview Parkway (at Center Drive) Vernon Hills. Burgers, brats or dogs, chips and a drink are available for a $5 donation. There will be live music and plants available for sale. All proceeds go to the "Walk to End Alzheimer's." The event is hosted by the village of Vernon Hills' "Walk to End Alzheimer's" Team. Call (847) 367-3700.
