Island Lake board to vote on budget

The Island Lake village board could approve a proposed $7.6 million budget for the 2015 fiscal year when it meets Thursday. The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at village hall, 3720 Greenleaf Ave. The new fiscal year started May 1. The spending plan's details have not yet been released to the media.
