We can blame only ourselves for our leaders

I recently drove back from Florida to Illinois. 1,200 miles of beautiful roads, properly maintained and landscaped. I hit the Illinois border and thought that I was in Beirut. How can we possibly entertain spending $100 million on an Obama presidential library when so much is needed for basic services? Our leadership on this issue is laughable, and we have only our electorate to blame.
