Justin Kelly's leadoff home run in the bottom of the sixth provided the Tigers (9-4, 7-1) with the game-winning run in the second game of the DuPage Valley Conference series. Brett Struebing was the complete-game winning pitcher. Mark Khoury launched a 2-run homer for Naperville North (7-8, 3-5).
Glenbard West 9, Oak Park 5:
The Hilltoppers (13-6, 7-2) used an 8-run second inning to take two of three in the West Suburban Silver series. Luke Domask, Drew Vogg, Hayden Carlson and Trevor Hamilton all had 2 hits. Nick Floyd went 5 innings to pick up the win.
Waubonsie Valley 8, Elgin 7:
Trailing 7-6 in the Upstate Eight Conference game, the Warriors (14-5, 10-2) scored twice in the top of the six to pull out the victory. Ben Vietri went 3-for-4 while Luke Marzano, Ryan Jones, Drew Ellam and Tad Wegner all had 2 hits. Nick Drago won in relief while Jack Eddy picked up the save.
Wheaton North 4, Lake Park 0:
Sparked by Greg Scandora's 2-run triple, the Falcons (9-8, 5-3) scored all their runs in the first inning of their DuPage Valley Conference victory. Complete-game winner Zach Colangelo struck out six, walked none and scattered 7 hits. Ethan Schulz went 2-for-3 and losing pitcher Steven Joyce struck out 10 for Lake Park (6-10, 2-6).
Montini 5, Lyons Twp. 2:
Rhett Wojkovich doubled, tripled and drove in 4 runs as the Broncos improved to 13-1. Eric Frontzak struck out five and allowed only 4 hits as the complete-game winning pitcher.
Neuqua Valley 10, West Chicago 6:
Tyler Tesmond led the 13-hit attack for the Wildcats (9-9, 8-5) with a 4-hit effort in the Upstate Eight Conference victory. Mike Riesner homered and Nick Hilgemann drove in 3 runs in support of winning pitcher Andy Sommers. Ryan Koester had 3 RBI and Austin Kordik and Antonio Solis had 2 hits for West Chicago (8-10, 4-9).
Glenbard North 7, Glenbard East 3:
Eric Orze went the distance for the Panthers (11-7, 5-3), striking out seven and walking none while allowing 7 hits in the DuPage Valley Conference victory. Matt Albin and Luke Greenberg each drove in 2 runs. Tommy Mogavero and John Allen had 2 hits for Glenbard East (8-11, 2-6).
Glenbard South 12, IC Catholic Prep 2:
The Raiders (14-3) scored in each of the game's final six innings and cruised to the nonconference victory. Nick Yangas improved to 5-0 with a 6-inning effort. Tim Marks went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI. Kyle Carli added 2 RBI. Clark Brinkman went 2-for-4 for IC Catholic Prep (12-15).
Batavia 4, Metea Valley 3:
The Mustangs (9-7, 5-4) surrendered the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning in their Upstate Eight Conference defeat. Mike Sfikas went 4-for-4 while Jack Szott went 3-for-4. Sam Hanson and Gunner Vega had 2 hits apiece.

Emil Baftirovski and Ray Greco led the 11-hit attack by going 3-for-5 for the Trojans (13-5, 8-4) in their West Suburban Silver Conference win. Myles Farley drove in 3 runs. Complete-game winning pitcher Ryan Andrews scattered 7 hits while striking out seven and walking none. Nolan Spencer went 2-for-3 with an RBI for York (8-11, 4-5).

The Mustangs (11-4, 9-0) scored 4 runs in the bottom of the fourth to help them stay unbeaten in the West Suburban Gold. Zac Taylor allowed 3 hits and struck out eight in 6 innings to earn the win. Danny Oriente homered and Danny Spinuzza drove in 2 runs.
