Alzheimer's lunch in Vernon Hills

Vernon Hills invites the public to the 9th annual Walk to End Alzheimer's lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 15, at Century Park, 1001 Lakeview Parkway (at Center Drive). For a $5 donation visitors receive a burger, bratwurst or hot dog, chips and a drink. Blues/jazz/folk music will be provided by Gus Stagg and there will be other attractions. All proceeds go to the Walk to End Alzheimer's. Call (847) 367-3700.
