The Wauconda Police Department will participate in National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday. People can safely dispose of unwanted human or pet medication by dropping it in the marked box in the police station lobby, 311 S. Main St. Needles or liquid medications cannot be dropped into the box. Although the box is available all the time, the national event brings attention to such programs.
