Take a stroll at the 25th Annual Employee Fitness Walk

Take a few minutes from the work day and go for a walk at Schaumburg Park District's Olympic Park.

In celebration of National Employee Health and Fitness Day, the District will hold its 25th Annual Employee Fitness Walk at its new location from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., May 21 at its new location, Olympic Park, 1675 E. Old Schaumburg Road.

The event will include a one-mile scenic walk around Olympic Park, free raffle prizes, free health screenings by Alexian Brothers Health System and a delicious lunch provided by Corner Bakery Cafe. Musical entertainment will be provided by 104.3 K-Hits Chicago.

Cost, including lunch, is $15 per walker. Lunch includes a sandwich, chips, cookie and bottled water. Registration forms are available at parkfun.com.
