Pedal your way through town
Celebrate Schaumburg's German heritage by riding your bike!
The Fahrrad Tour Von Schaumburg is set for Noon-2:15 p.m., May 18. The ride is a one-hour, police-guided tour of Schaumburg's bikeways. Participants will enjoy a free hot dog or brat, chips and a drink at the end of the ride.
The tour rides as a group and begins at Blackwell Elementary School, 345 N. Walnut and ends at Robert O. Atcher Municipal Center, 101 Schaumburg Court.
A limited supply of T-shirts will be available for $10. Bus transportation for participants and their bikes will be provided from the Village Plaza back to Blackwell Elementary School beginning at 1:45 p.m.
