Lake County water board meets

The Central Lake County Joint Action Water Agency board will meet Wednesday to discuss reconsidering Wauconda's application for membership. Negotiations ended abruptly last year, but village officials want a second chance to get Lake Michigan drinking water from the regional group. The meeting is set for 6 p.m. at CLCJAWA headquarters, 200 Rockland Road, Lake Bluff. It's open to the public.
