Schaumburg's German sister city donates clothes to Volkening Heritage Farm.

Sophie Mensching, an expert in Schaumburg folk costuming from Stadthagen, Germany, recently visited Volkening Heritage Farm, 201 S. Plum Grove Road. Sophie donated a men's vest and jacket, an infant girl's baptismal outfit and a German book with English captions about the folk outfits.
