Rick Steffen named President of Volo's Atom AMPD

Rick Steffen has been promoted from Sales Director of Franchise Accounts to President of Atom AMPD in Volo, Illinois, responsible for overseeing daily operations nationally and internationally. Atom AMPD, LLC is an enterprise-level communications Company providing scalable networking, security, wireless and telephony solutions for any business ranging from small to Fortune 100.

Steffen has over 40 years of experience and success in the areas of education, business development and supply chain management. He has worked in a wide variety of roles and industries, including large publically held corporations as well as privately held companies and startups.

Previously, Steffen has held leadership positions with McDonald's Corporation as Senior Director of Equipment Systems. His success in this role required a highly collaborative relationship with the chains franchisees, suppliers, field operations and development teams as well as other corporate departments. Subsequently, Steffen held the position as Director of Sales for National Accounts with Carrier Commercial Refrigeration, a United Technologies Company.

As Vice President of Sales at Illinois Range Company, Steffen's team grew top line sales with many of the world's largest franchise organizations.

Steffen holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University and attended graduate school at Northeastern Illinois University. He is a resident of Towers Lakes, Illinois.
