Wauconda OKs transportation study:

Wauconda trustees on Tuesday approved a transportation study for Route 176 and other key roads, and agreed to forward the report to the Illinois Department of Transportation. The report, from an independent consultant, recommends new traffic lights and other improvements to the busy roadway as a way to encourage development in town. The exchange with Route 12 was targeted, as were other portions of Route 176, Route 12 and other roads. Trustees reviewed the proposal last week with the consultant.
