Palatine Park District Plans Hound Egg Hunt for April 12

Palatine Park District presents the annual Hound Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12 at noon at Towne Square, 150 W. Palatine Road, Palatine. The event is for dogs and their owners ages 16 and up. The dogs will hunt for eggs filled with treats and each dog will receive a souvenir photo with the bunny.

The fee is $6 for pre-registration or $8 at the event. The first 120 registered dogs will each receive a goody bag. All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and current rabies tags must be worn in order to participate in the event. Registration can be completed by fax, by mail, in person at Community Center, Birchwood Recreation Center, or Falcon Park Recreation Center, or online at www.palatineparks.org.

In addition to the egg hunt, dogs and their owners will be given the opportunity to browse the sponsor area. This year's gold level partners include A Closer Bond Dog School, Bentley's Corner Barkery, Daily Herald Media Group, Hoffman Estates Animal Hospital, Jewel-Osco, Loving Care Animal Hospital, Sports Authority, and Tailchasers, Incorporated.
