Mount Prospect Woman's Club Awards 2014 College Scholarships

The Mount Prospect Woman's Club will be awarding one or more scholarships to students who plan on entering college in the fall of 2014. The amount awarded will be approximately $1,000 for each scholarship awarded. To be eligible for a scholarship, the student must reside in Mount Prospect, and attend a college or university within the state of Illinois. We also consider applicants intending to continue their education at a community college in Illinois. Please note that there is no preference given for certain majors or careers.

Scholarship applications can be obtained from the counseling office at local high schools, and must be postmarked by 3/28/14. Applications will not be returned, and late applications will not be considered. Scholarship applications should be submitted to Mount Prospect Woman's Club, Attention: Scholarship Committee, P.O. Box 79, Mount Prospect, IL 60056. Scholarship winners will be notified in April, and scholarships will be awarded at the club's May meeting.
