Antioch rolls in regional opener

Antioch 68, Chicago North Grand 39: Antioch advanced to the regional semifinals with a comfortable win in its opener Monday at St. Patrick.
The No. 13 Sequoits will now face host St. Patrick, a No. 4 seed, Tuesday at 8 p.m.
Antioch is trying to win its first regional in years in order to return home to play in the Class 3A sectional it will be hosting next week.
McHenry 53, Grant 41: Ryan Noda had 14 points but was the only Grant player to reach double-figures in a loss to McHenry in the regional opener at McHenry.
Steve Dunning had 9 points for the Bulldogs, who close the season at 14-14.
Meanwhile, McHenry got double-figure scoring out of four players.
Prospect 68, Round Lake 49: Despite 21 points from Karnell Wright, Round Lake lost its opener in regional play at Hersey.
Prospect got 19 points apiece from Bobby Frasco and Danny Thomas.
