Double car fire in Mt. Prospect:

Firefighters answering the call for a car fire on the 1600 block of Oneida Court in Mount Prospect Friday afternoon discovered two cars on fire. The fire, which was ruled accidental, destroyed both vehicles and did limited damage to the house, even though firefighters got it out quickly, officials said. No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $35,000. The Glenview Fire Department assisted Mount Prospect.
