Three Hawks Set PR's at North Central
The Harper College women's track and field team continued improving over the weekend at the North Central Cardinal Classic as four athletes set PR's in their respective events.
Stephanie Hurwitz (Rolling Meadows, Ill./Fremd) set a PR in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.37 seconds and also in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.02 seconds. Gabrielle Brosnan (Mount Prospect, Ill./Christian Liberty) improved upon her best 400-meter dash time with a new PR of 1:13.19.
Lori Delfin (/Wheeling) shattered her previous best time in the mile run by over 10 seconds with a time of 6:16.79.
The Hawks return to competition on Friday, March 7 at Carthage College.
