Fox Lake Polar Plunge on Sunday

The Fox Lake Polar Plunge is Sunday, Feb. 23, at 1 p.m. at the village's Lakefront Park, 71 Nippersink Road. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. Each person who takes a dive in the Chain O' Lakes is required to donate or raise $75. Participants will receive a hooded sweatshirt and free admission to the post plunge party, as well as a free lunch before the swim. Additional incentive items are available for volunteers who raise $250, $500, and $1,000 for the event. People looking for more information should visit plungeillinois.com.
