National animal adoption event Friday through Sunday

Assisi Animal Foundation will partner with PetSmart Charities National Adoption event Friday through Sunday, Feb. 14-16, at the Crystal Lake PetSmart, 4465 Route 14.

Whether it be big, small, young, old, red, black or brown, the Assisi Animal Foundation has just the right pet for you. Dogs and cats will be available for adoption. All animals are completely vetted and ready to find their forever homes. Find your sweetie beginning Valentine's Day at this special pet event. Assisi Animal Foundation Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon will be April 26 at the Crystal Lake Country Club with celebrity host Nancy Lou from WGN TV. The event includes a gourmet lunch, silent auction, raffle prizes and the newest in spring fashions provided by the Dress Barn of Algonquin.

Tickets are $35 and must be purchased in advance.
