Enjoy Winter Wonders Feb. 18 in Campton Hills
To remedy the winter blahs, come out to the Winter Wonders in Campton Hills event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18.
Indoor and outdoor activities and games will be available for all ages.
The Free Spirit Siberian Rescue sled demo team will be performing sled demonstrations and have huskies for you to meet and greet.
Huskie dogs will be available for adoption.
Local hockey experts from Fox Valley Ice Arena will offer hockey clinics, giving drills, puck shots, and skating tips. Ice safety and rescue demonstrations will be provided the Fox River and Countryside Fire/Rescue District.
The festival also will feature children's games and storytelling; nature walks; and snowmobile safety sessions and demonstrations by the Kane County Forest Preserve District. Free S'mores and hot chocolate will be offfered.
The Winter Wonders event will be held at the Campton Township Community Center, 5N082 Old LaFox Road, Campton Hills.
All activities are free and will be held with or without snow. This event is hosted by the Community Relations Committee of the Village of Campton Hills.
