Craft beer tasting:

A craft beer tasting event will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Sullivan Community Center, 635 N. Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills. Several area breweries will be pouring samples of their ales, lagers and stouts. Live music and BBQ will be part of the activities. Tickets are $35 and must be purchased at the Sullivan center. Each ticket comes with a free tasting but they are limited. Call (847) 996-6800.
