Motorola Solutions CEO to moderate Christie talk in Chicago
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is take questions next week at a prestigious Chicago economic group meeting during a fundraising trip to Illinois. Group representatives told The Associated Press about the trip Monday.
Christie is to speak to the Economic Club of Chicago at 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 11, and is expected to field questions moderated by a chief executive of Schaumburg-based Motorola Solutions, Inc. Christie also plans to later hold private meetings with donors and headline a fundraising dinner.
The event will mark the first time Christie has answered questions in person in more than a month, since his Jan. 9 response to revelations that at least one top aide had a role in a September traffic blocking scheme that has shadowed the potential 2016 GOP presidential candidate since.
