Second City to perform at diabetes fundraiser in Barrington

The Second City Touring Company will be performing at 8 p.m. Friday at Barrington High School to benefit the Barrington-based charity Dash to Cure Diabetes.

Proceeds raised from the event will go toward the scholarship program for The American Diabetes Association’s Triangle D Summer Camp at Camp Duncan in Volo. The scholarship is for children of low-income families who are unable to pay for the camp on their own. At the camp, children experience summer activities as well as diabetes education and support.
