Schaumburg man pleads guilty to soliciting teen

A Schaumburg man who prosecutors say followed a teenage girl on social media then invited her to dinner and to spend an evening at a hotel pleaded guilty recently to indecent solicitation of a child, court records show.

Michael J. Cozza pleaded guilty to the class 4 felony in exchange for a sentence of two years of sex offender probation, which includes evaluation, treatment and supervision by a caseworker.

Cozza, who had no prior criminal background, was also ordered to pay $1,179 in fines.
