Haas, Hersey edge Buffalo Grove

Hersey 50, Buffalo Grove 43: Payton Haas had a team-best 14 points and Brandon Hatten scored 10 to help the host Huskies past Buffalo Grove in Mid-Suburban East play.

Brandon Hatten contributed 10 points for Hersey (5-9).

Senior guard Andrew Apel led the way with game-high 18 points for Buffalo Grove (5-9).

Luther North 57, Christian Liberty 55: The host Chargers outscored their opponents 22-14 in the fourth quarter but still came up a bucket short in Northeastern Athletic Conference play.

Sam Silva had a pair of 3’s and finished with a game-high 16 points, and Wes Swiderek had 12 points for Christian Liberty.
